Post: Elder Law

A 79-year-old client had been emotionally and mentally abused by her son for many years. Without her knowledge or permission, the son submitted forged power of attorney documents to the client’s bank and gained unlimited access to her accounts. After discovering the fraudulent activity, the client
reached out for help. Her legal aid attorney revoked the son’s access and restored the client’s sole control over her own finances.
