A retired senior on a fixed income contacted Legal Aid during a contractual dispute. After the passing of her mother, the cemetery refused to provide services without additional payments although her grandparents had secured their services and burial plots years earlier. A volunteer attorney took on her case, thoroughly reviewed the contractual documents and negotiated with the cemetery. As a result, the cemetery agreed to honor the original contract and bury her mother.
