A client living with neuropathy came to legal aid after falling multiple times while going to and from her second-floor apartment. She had previously completed two requests for a reasonable accommodation, but the property manager had not forwarded them to the corporate owner of the complex. Legal aid was able to quickly file another request, including documentation of prior requests. Her request for a first-floor apartment was granted, and the complex was required to provide training to its employees so that others with disabilities would be given appropriate accommodations.
