Post: Removing Barriers to Employment for a Veteran

A veteran reached out to Legal Aid for help to remove barriers from an old criminal record. Through the diligence of Legal Aid, all the necessary documents were secured to apply for his expungement, resulting in a positive outcome. The veteran was able to graduate and obtain his nursing license. He is now looking forward to furthering his education in medicine and to a brighter future career.
